Grant Litchfield LLB
Director, Barrister & Solicitor
Grant has been practising law since 1981, firstly as an intern at Wood Ruck in Otahuhu, then as a partner at Inder Lynch in Papakura. In 1995, wanting to spend more time with his young family, Grant set up his own law practice opposite Waiau Pa School, where he became the Chair of the board of Trustees. Along with lawyers John White and Shaun Bellamy, in 2002 Grant set up Franklin Law in Hall St, Pukekohe, to share skills and costs. Grant and his legal team opened Complete Legal at 64 Edinburgh St, Pukekohe, in response to a greater need for a family focused law firm.
Grant has played hockey since he was a boy at Waiau Pa Hockey Club. While studying at the University of Auckland, he played back and has just stepped down after 7 years as President for Counties Manukau. He has mentored and coached upcoming young Hockey Umpires for almost 30 years, and is now a sponsor of the Glenbrook Hockey Club.
